In 2013 he won ‘The Dutch Blues Challange’ with his duo ‘Herbie and the Guitarguy’. After winning “The Dutch Blues Challenge” they went to compete in the International Blues Challenge of 2014 (IBC) in Memphis, Tennesee USA. In the begining of 2014 the time was right to start his solo career. The Guitar Guy plays a mix of Delta, Ragtime, Chicago and Country Blues.
